I’ve been drawn to motherhood and nurturing from a young age, working with babies in childcare centers and in homes as an Au-pair. It was quite a surprise for my family when I decided in my twenties to settle in India and peruse my path as an ordained Buddhist nun. Yet I still felt that calling towards motherhood, returning home and eventually becoming a mother myself.
As experienced and educated as I was in childcare, babies and pregnancy I still experienced the baptism of fire known as “new motherhood” and finally realised that some things can’t be learnt from books, only shared.
I’ve been shown that living an authentic life is the key to satisfaction and knowing I can enter people’s lives at this most precious, overwhelming and hectic time and be of real service to them is such an honor for me. I bring people my experience, warmth and deep listening with a healthy dose of humor.
